Under the support of Christian Evangelical Mission for a year, the first ever Sunday Service was held at Taran Subdivision in 1988 where the members were only the Ciriaco Family.

It was attended by 10 people – two adults and 8 children. A year after, we became an independent church under the name Faith Evangelical Christian Fellowship for six years.

Within those years, we transferred from one place to another, from the house of Delgado Family to the house of James Sasi to The Heart Inn, Kudjapi, Marasigan Building, Hernandez Store Mega Market, Nursery Phase 2, Bombeo Building, Fajardo Building, Manlangit Building, JN Centermall, and lastly in 1996 we transferred at Kalye Putol, Kidapawan City.

During this time, we encountered countless problems including members who transferred to other churches because of different obstacles that have come in their lives. Only eight families were left attending service every Sunday.

But through the sustaining grace of God we are still here continuing to love the ministry. We again joined Evangelical Christian Outreach Foundation Incorporated and started celebrating our thanksgiving then moved here in this place, our 13th destination, the Lanao, Kidapawan City on the year 2004.

Evangelical Christian Outreach Foundation Incorporated which is now Evangelical Christian Outreach Fellowship International Incorporated donated 100,000 pesos in order to start building this place.

Years have passed and God has remained faithful to Lanao ECOFI Inc. church despite some leaders having already gone ahead.

God has planned everything and was already molding passionate leaders to stand and continue the ministry of those before them.

God has poured out multitude of blessings in this church and on this day, at this very moment, we are once again celebrating God’s goodness and faithfulness all throughout the ministry.
